Several staff members from the Geriatrics Clinic; Dr. Sheikh, Rebecca Hollis, Nikki Smith, and Mindy Baker along with Angel Huszar and Freddie Robertson participated in the 15th annual Senior and Law Enforcement Together Expo March 8, 2012. Lallie Kemp’s booth featured services offered in the Geriatric Clinic.

Crystal Aegerter
Crystal started working at Lallie Kemp in September of 1996. She is currently an ‘Administrative Coordinator 4’ in our Central Supply Department. Crystal’s main responsibilities consist of maintaining inventory control through the PeopleSoft System and assisting others with daily tasks for the department. When asked what she likes most about her job she stated, “I love my LKMC family and the patients so much”! She believes that organization and providing assistance with the system to other employees when needed, makes things easier for everyone to access and locate. Crystal shared that the one thing she likes best about LKMC is that “It’s like a big family here”. In her time off she enjoys reading, cross-stitching and playing board games with her three (3) children, who are: Britainni 19, Beaux 10 and Elizabeth 6. She has been married to her husband Scott, who she has known since age ten (10), for nine years. Crystal and her family are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where Crystal cares for the children in the nursery. When asked about her reaction to being named “Shining Star” she said, “I was shocked! I was not expecting this!” When you see Crystal, please congratulate her on being “January’s Shining Star”!!
Deborah Rick
Congratulations to Deborah (“Deb”) Rick in our Communications Department for being voted our “2011 Shining Star”!
Deb has been with Lallie Kemp since July 5, 2005. She was nominated and voted “Shining Star” for the month of October 2011 and has now been voted our “2011 Shining Star”! Deb, along with all of our 2011 monthly winners, was entered into an online contest by way of “Survey Monkey”. The winner was determined by LKMC employees. A plaque acknowledging this achievement was presented to Deb by Sherre Pack-Hookfin, Hospital Administrator. Her picture will hang in the main lobby of the hospital along with previous recipients of the annual award.
After being presented with this award, Deb stated, “I was amazed. This is such an honor. I love my job and am such a "people person”.
October Nomination Submission:
I am nominating Deborah Rick the switchboard operator as employee of the month. There is never a time that I have passed the switchboard that she doesn’t have a smile on her face. She is a very pleasant person to be around.

Sheikh’s, while others obtained information regarding the services
provided at Lallie Kemp. The Expo provided a wonderful opportunity
for our staff to highlight the geriatric services provided and
demonstrate the excellent care each patient is given at our
hospital.
